What Is Vertical Farming

Vertical farming is the practice of growing crops in vertically stacked layers or towers. Vertical farming uses controlled-environment agriculture which optimizes plant growth, and soilless farming techniques such as aeroponics. Tower Gardens have been used in many applications including schools, airports and several farms in other countries. They can be used in office complexes, restaurants, any unused space and put on roof tops. Vertical farming is now being accepted by major food chains. We incorporate both styles of growing vertically stacked for our microgreens and the towers for our vegetables. |
