He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:23

Lectio: Gen. 18:19; Deut. 10:12; 1 Sam. 15:23; Is. 1:17; Hos. 6:6; 12:6. 1 Cor. 1:8; Phil. 4:9; 1 Thess. 3:13.

Meditatio: He has shown you, O man, what is good... you, O man... what is good... what does the LORD require of you... justly... love mercy... walk humbly with your God... the God of peace Himself... sanctify you completely... preserved blameless... be preserved blameless...

Oratio: You have shown us, O Father, what will please you. Your commands are good, not because they are commands, but You have commanded what is good. Justice and mercy toward our fellow man. Sincere humility toward You. You give the grace to believe, to repent, and Your grace sanctifies day by day. Preserve us, O Christ, that we might be found blameless at Your judgment. Amen.

Contemplatio: Walk humbly.

"Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children."
Deuteronomy 4:10

And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet. Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him.
Luke 21:37, 38

Lectio: Exodus 19:9, 16; 20:18; Hebrews 12:18, 19. John 8:1, 2; Luke 22:39.

Meditatio: Daytime... teaching in the temple... early in the morning... all the people... to hear Him.

Oratio: Christ, You preached faithfully each of Your last days before Your betrayal, in the presence of those You knew sought to destroy You. Not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, but those You called came early in the morning to hear You. May we also come faithfully each morning to seek You, to hear You, to be conformed to Your image. And may we not neglect to retire in the evening, away from the day's distractions, to seek Your strength that we might be faithful to Your work each day. For Your sake, Amen.

Contemplatio: Devotion.
